Basics of Computer.
What is a Computer?
A computer is an electronic machine which takes data,processes data and after processing produces the useful results.
A computer can also store data for future use.
Computer always deals with data.
There are two types of data.
1.Input data.
2.Output data.
What is input data?
The data which we give to the computer is called the input or input data.
What is output data?
The processed data produced by a computer is called the output or output data.
What is meta data?
Data about data is called the Meta Data.
Components of Computer.
We can divide the components of computer into two categories.
1.INPUT DEVICES
What are the Input Devices?
Input device is any hardware component that allows the user to enter data or instruction into the computer.
Names of Some Important Input Devices.
KEYBOARD.
MOUSE.
TOUCH PAD.
POINTING STICK.
LIGHT PEN.
TOUCH SCREEN.
WEBCAM and etc.
